For the Commonwealth's Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, Atlantic Bridge & Engineering furnished and erected the structural and miscellaneous steel for the power plant electrical infrastructure upgrade and resiliency project at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, with Gilbane Building Company as construction manager. The structural package was the new power plant building's steel frame, columns, beams and a catwalk, much of it later encased in concrete; with the miscellaneous steel it came to about 95 tons.

The miscellaneous package is what a marine campus wears hard: an elevated walkway with grating, steel stairs with grated treads, stainless-steel handrail on hot-dip galvanized posts and rails, tube-steel sub-framing for the architectural metal screens, reinforcement at deck and roof penetrations, brick-shelf angles and daylight-panel supports, plus the anchor bolts, embedded angles with studs, leveling plates and lintels furnished ahead of the concrete, and bollards and stainless corner guards added along the way. The job was quoted in August 2019 and built through 2020 and 2021, through the COVID-19 disruptions of that period.
